Beyond The Board Tour
The Shred Sled is a 2001 International school bus home of the Beyond The Board Tour. Painted by artist Kid Wiseman.
During its time on the road it houses four+ Beyond the Board team members. It is equipped with 30 longboards of all shapes and sizes for all people to try out while learning. It's basically the sickest bus around and if you see it come knock on the door to say what’s up. The Shred Sled is home for all skaters new and old. It is a hub for community and adventure.
2022
Summer of 2022 I had the opportunity to come back to the Shred Sled for 2 months. This time to travel across the whole United States.
At every major city along the way we hosted longboard dancing lessons, city skate scavenger hunts, competitions, and meetups!
My job, to document the trip from start to finish for a future documentary, create content for our sponsors, and put out a recap video to show at our finale, which we hosted 56 stories above the New York City skyline.
By the end of the tour we visited 16 states, and hosted events in 24 major cities, and met thousands of people along the way.
2021
In July of 2021 I accepted the craziest and most intensive gig yet. I partnered with Brandon DesJarlais, Brooke Johnson and Desh Raman on a road trip in a converted school bus for a month and a half. We traveled the West Coast teaching people how to longboard and meeting up with legends in the skate community to do group rides.
My job, to record and photograph the trip from start to finish and put out a recap video every week along the way
